Hunter Nichols - Director / Editor / Cinematographer

Hunter was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. As an avid outdoorsmen, he fell in love with nature photography at a young age. During his college years, he received mentoring from conservation photographer Beth Maynor Young. Photography escalated into documentary filmmaking, and Hunter graduated from Auburn University with a BA in Radio, Television, and Film. He began working as a freelance photographer and filmmaker in 2005 and soon founded Hunter Nichols Productions based in Birmingham, AL. He has since been photographing, filming, and producing works for various clients throughout Alabama and the nation. Cat Porter - Music Composer / Associate Producer

Cat was born on a farm in Lexington, Kentucky, but now resides in Birmingham, Alabama. She danced with both the Nashville Ballet and the Alabama Ballet before beginning her work with Hunter Nichols Productions in 2010. She produces music for films, writes scripts, and makes editorial decisions. Cat plays piano and produced the original score for River Dreams. The film would not be what it is without her talent and involvement. She is a creative busy bee and just released her first album, The Long Haul, and plans are underway to publish her first fiction book, Paper Plane. On top of all this, she is studying biomedical engineering at UAB and maintains a 4.0 GPA. Did we mention she is busy?
